brake fluid replacement

My Camaro is a very early 2016 and I bled all 4 brakes in late 2018 early 2019 and the inner bleed of the front Brembo stripped out and I had to drill and replace it. It was very corroded before and after the contact surface. I lived in Texas so very dry.

Now in Hawaii very humid, I just bled all the brakes again about 2 quarts and the other side inboard bleed on the front was too tight, so I did not crack it as I did not want to go thru the fiasco of installing a new bigger bleed (not fun).

GM uses plain steel on these bleeds and they not can but WILL corrode. For some reason on my car it was the inside front bleeds.

So I tell you guys probably bleed your brakes more often replace the bleeds as the corrode (back order from dealer), and maybe somebody has a brass replacement, lastly if it feels tight, and you don't have a weekend to cuss, don't crack it open and bleed the rest and don't tell the owner...cuse he is OCD.

I do mine about every 2years in every car I own. It's not the mileage that determines the change. Brake fluid is hygroscopic. It's the water/moisture that warrants the change or the age of the fluid, if you want to look at it like that.
