I am absolutely not the target demographic for stuff like this. Sure, the money puts it out of reach for me (I would never spend that kind of money on any car) but, while that car is cool and all, I wouldn't pay anything more than maybe $20-25k for a classic Camaro in AMAZING condition. It would be a complete restomod anyhow by the time I was done with it.

Trim TAG ISSUE

Well if money were no object, I would have a REAL problem paying 770K for a ZL1 that DOES NOT have the factory supplied TRIM TAG.

That's a HUGE verification problem in my opinion. No doubt there ia a registry of all the VINS that were part of that 69 car ZL1 grouping??? VINS of course can be forged as well.

You can also purchase TRIM TAGS with the CORRECT factory rivets.

Lot #1353 - This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 COPO 9560 is #61 of 69 built in 1969. It is powered by a numbers matching all-aluminum 427/430hp V8 engine mated to a M21 4-speed manual transmission and a 4.10 posi-traction rear end. This Camaro is optioned with D80 spoiler equipment and an AM radio. The vehicle displays a non-OEM trim tag and features a Jerry MacNeish Certificate of Authenticity. From the Northside Customs Collection.

Numbers Matching doesnt necessarily mean that the items in question are the ORIGINAL factory parts that came with that car.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

This '69 ZL1 sold for $1 million+. I'd rather own the COPO.

I was wondering about that too, but if Jerry says it's the real deal you can bet it is.
