What mode does a non NPP exhaust most mimic?
My guess would be tour mode without the stealth start up option??
Bitch cold outside so I'm on the internets asking people stuff

Sorry to hear about the weather down there! But I would lean more toward Sport mode for everyday driving in a Camaro, without the NPP.

No but I was shocked how quiet my '17 SS without NPP was. Unless it was cold out, which doesnt happen very often around me, it was very quiet. My new car with NPP definitely sounds louder than that even with the valves closed. This is all backed by 0% science and my hearings terrible so take it for what its worth but mine was insanely quiet. Some guys sounded louder than mine on videos...wouldn't mind hearing one with cat deletes just out of curiosity.

I wondered this too when I first bought my non npp auto. Doesn't matter now though with the AWE track axleback and AFM turned off via Range device

My guess would be tour mode as well (with stealth start up).
I need to look....is there an option to quiet the startup on an NPP-equipped vehicle? I love the added sound when driving, but the startup is a little, "look at me!" sometimes. |
