I purchased the Dark Night Interior Spectrum Lighting Kit (84156586) for my new 2SS and swapped out the door spears. I now have the complete kit with silver spears for sale. Effectively it is part number 84156578. In 84156586 box.

Did some research but can’t seem to find the answers…

What all does this kit come with? Is it the door cards or just the “blades”? Does it include the lighted cup holders? Also, is it just 1 color or can the color be changed?

Note, I have a 1ss. I like the kit but wanna make sure it works/looks like the 2ss

This kit contains the silver blades (removed from 24 2SS with 28 miles), all the harnesses and a switch that goes in the dash where the HUD switch is normally. Trims with HUD include this kit and it is controlled through the radio. Installation requires removal of door panels.

You might look for instructions for this kit to make sure you know what it contains.

As far as I know it does change lighting colors using the switch. I did not use anything but the blades so I can't say for sure. There are plenty of videos online if you want more info.

It does not effect the cup holder.

I did comment earlier this kit does not have footwell lighting. I have since determined it does.

Since finding that out, I am considering using the footwell lights and selling the door kit only at a reduced cost.

If there is interest in the complete kit with the footwell lighting, please let me know.

Will this work with a 1ss? Is it a standalone unit that just adds the door blades and footwell lighting? It doesn’t hook up to your radio right?
