Well, I daily an MKZ and my fun car is an 03 Terminator. Not a Camaro in sight. But I like it here. It's a decent community. Stay and contribute when you can and want to. And there's nothing saying you can't also join those other forums, for technical information and specific help topics.

I already found a Stinger forum, hahaha. Been posting/reading there since I got the car a few months ago. I mainly stick around these forums for any 7th gen Camaro news. If I could afford (and had the space for) an additional fun car I would still consider the Camaro. But frankly, I feel like the Stinger has all the power I want & need, and I'd probably go for something like a BRZ as the fun car. Right now I can't imagine wanting more power for the street. I'm already getting into stupid speeds so fast, that I just question whats the point. Plus we have some decent curvy back roads in the region, so I'd imagine having a lot of fun tossing around a small lightweight car. If the Cadillac CT4-V (non blackwing) was more readily available I would have taken a hard look at that as well. But it has been super rare, and AWD only in this region. I would have wanted the RWD version for the magnetic suspension. Plus its way more of a sports sedan than the Stinger, and is very close to a 4 door Camaro. |

Thanks guys. Yeah I'll probably stick around here for a bit anyways since I'm still interested in what's happening in the Camaro world anyways. I always have my account on LS1TECH for my 2000 SS, so it's not like I'm completely without a Camaro lol. Just joined a MKZ forum, so we'll see how that pans out. The format and structure is quite a bit different than this one so it will take some getting used to

sleeper sedan that looks boring compared to the Camaro...it kinda sounds like you're looking for more power and tech...at a reasonable price. Why not shop for a used loaded SS? at least test drive one....

I already have a 700 hp Camaro SS as my weekend/summer toy. Otherwise I'd definitely have something different than the Lincoln. As much as I loved my V6 Camaro as my daily, the MKZ is much more suitable for me and my situation. I have no regrets, this is an awesome daily driver for me

If you have another fast, fun Camaro? Ditch the V6 and get this IMHO.
My 2000 Z/28 was also significantly modded, and selling that for a 370Z was one of my biggest regrets.

The SS has been paid off for 8 years now. So you had the 3.0t AWD as a loaner? That's one sweet loaner lol |

What was done to your Z28? My 2000 SS is a completely built 6.0 with nitrous. Getting this MKZ wasn't really a matter of me looking for one in particular, but rather it was just a killer deal that popped up on a great car with a great trade in offer on the V6 Camaro.

Almost the whole suspension was replaced, however. Shocks, springs by Sam Strano at StranoSpeed, tubular control arms, etc. It handled GREAT for a boat! I wanted to get into road racing more, so I sold it for the 370Z. I wish I'd just stuck w/ the Camaro in the end lol.

Probably as result of dealer being combo Ford/Lincoln, so sometimes one got lucky. Not complaining, it was winter and seats were GREAT!

Nice. When my LS1 blew up I went with a completely forged TMS 370 LQ9. Texas Speed heads, big cam, 4.10 gear, 150 shot, etc.. Funny you mention the 370Z. That was one of the cars I was considering when I was shopping and ended up with my 2018 V6 Camaro |

Heated seats and steering wheel is really nice. The cooled seats are actually air conditioned and not ventilated. Gets really nice and cool. Love that. One thing I don't like is the seats don't go low enough. That wasn't a problem in the Camaro. The Revel Ultima stereo in this car is just nuts. Way better than the Bose in the Camaro. So many pros vs cons that I hardly miss the Camaro now
