Congrats on the car....

...My guess is after you track that beast, you won't give another thought to how it feels on the street!....Good luck.

Thumbs up

I think I like the one on the left better. But the one on the right is growing on me...

But seriously - if truly being used as a daily driver...I'd recommend a standard ZL1 over this.
Congratulations, both 1LE's look awesome!

More info on the ride please, it's whats standing between me and swapping for a 1LE...

Anyone have any idea when cars bayed are gonna be shipped. I saw mine sitting in the rail yard outside plant waiting for a train. It's been 2 weeks since it was produced.

Grrr. Refund my 995 destination and I'll hire a car carrier to pick up tomorrow and deliver to dealer in 2 days.

Flint Truck Assembly has trucks stored all over the place because the rail system is so far behind..... seems like thousands of them parked around a radius of 15 miles.....all of the manufacturers are running at capacity.... the rail system for vehicles is overloaded up here....

If the ride is like the Z/28 is, then I can daily drive the ZL1 1LE. I was expecting stiffer when I first drove the Z home.

I never owned a Z/28, I just took one on a slightly extended test drive. The ZL1 1LE feels different. I'll preface this by saying that I drove 8 hours home with my ZL1 1LE so it wasn't the best introduction. On the way I came to really despise when the highway was concrete vs blacktop. I also loathed the seam between highway and bridges.

But I didn't buy it for 8 hour road trips. I bought it for the track and that can't come soon enough. There, in it's proper element, this car is going to be amazing. It's weaponized. Grip and power for days.

Congrats Macaro!

This tells me everything i need... I thought my focus RS ride was too hard core and traded it in after i took a very uncomfortable 2 hr highway ride...

This tells me ZL1-1LE is pretty hardcore and too much as daily driver for New England pothole filled roads (not necessarily same in nicer climate regions/better roads)...

As it is i am grateful my ZL1 is tolerable in tour mode on same roads and annoying in Sport/Track...

I just noticed you're in Connecticut so more insight on daily and back road driving would be much appreciated...

I drove my Z/28 for 1500+ miles when I moved. That's not counting the multiple 4 hours plus road trip. Again I was expecting worse. I don't like concrete to blacktop in my GTI lol. As long as the seats are comfy I can drive it daily. I'm more thinking about seats than stiffness lol. To me, if it has a VIN, it's a daily driver. Thanks for the reply

Does the manual give road coarse setup procedures?
