I knew I saw it in there!! .....Limited amt of brochures...went to another dealer and got one!

I'll just wait for it to expire in 3 months ....and see what happens.

They finally agreed to honour the 12 months. I wasn't satisfied with an extra 3 months, and kept moving it up the chain. Bit of a pain in the ass but was not going to take no for an answer. The call confirming the 12 months came from XM/Sirius, not GM, which I found a bit unusual. Regardless, it's finally settled.

Just got online today & transferred accounts between cars. The SiriusXM representative informed me during the chat that the trial was initiated as a 1 year free subscription.

Sounds like maybe SiriusXM is finally accepting it's a 1 year subscription
instead of 3 months?

Sirius XM

I've had my car for two weeks now and decided to give them a call to see what they had to say.

To my amazement the person I spoke to said "We totally understand the concern and will rectify it immediately".

Sure enough he came back after a few minutes and told me my account had been updated for a 12 month free trial period. He gave me his name and said if there are any problems after three months call in and refer to the time and date of our conversation and it will all be logged.

Time will tell.

when I got mine in 2014 it was 3 months, if it's 12 months now it's only better for the new buyers.

do you have a phone number you could give me. I just got my car last week and was also told 3 months. even though I found a print out on line for 12 months in Canada.

gm canada website has been updated to show 3 months.
I called XM today and got nowhere.
I should have called sooner....I think I got boned

NOPE. They said they have no way to deal with XM issues. Call Dealer or XM.

And....just got off the phone with GM canada.

No Go.

if someone gets it, get a name and contact info and tell them there is another camaro that needs 12 months.

Not sure what dept you called at GM Canada. You need GM Infotainment. (Call 1 800 GM Drive, option #1, then option #2 for GM Infotainment). I dealt with them, got a few "No" responses, but kept pushing it up the food chain until I got the 12 months.

So.... I got nowhere.
Just basically flat out No. Dealer can't do anything. Sirius says 3 month trial only, blah blah blah. Even had GM customer servive call me and give an explination as to why it's 3 months.
I like Sirius, local radio sux, all talk and commercials. So I signed up for a year
They give multi radio discounts, the wife has it in her van. So I re-activated my radio under her account for a year. $89.
I am fine with that. Yes, 12 months free was the goal but....what can I say.
