I had never heard of an eraser wheel. Looked into it and stumbled on this video

Welcome! I hadn't either until several years ago seeing one used to remove pin stripe and immediately bought one. It's not something you use very often, may even forget you have it, BUT rubber doesn't deteriorate over time so it's always ready to do the work for ya.

If someone doesn't mind waiting a month, here's the "direct from manufacturer" version of the Amazon emblems, lol. I'm 99.9% sure they're identical, but both have slight differences vs the OEM emblem....BUT their dimensions are extremely close to each other.

I have a link for flat black emblems with OEM dimensions from China, stupid cheap, if interested. I was surprised, they actually look and feel great. The red inlay on them is epoxied in where as my OEM emblems it is just a vinyl decal. They are hollow on the backside, but you'd never be able to tell unless you remove the black emblem tape for some reason.

FYI the hood and rear emblems are all identical sizes. Grill of course is considerably smaller.

What if you get the flat black one and get sand, then follow with a glossy clear coat?

Technically it should make it glossy, but definitely don't recommend doing to either Amazon or AliExpress emblems. I've scuffed the flat black with 600 and it doesn't take much at all to get through the black.

Differences I noticed handling both emblems at separate times... None anyone else would notice while on the car though.

Chinese emblems feel like they weigh more
OEM bottom is slightly contoured
The red inlay is larger on Chinese
The red inlay is not removable on Chinese, has clear epoxy over
The red inlay on OEM is more sunken in (not counting epoxy)
The 1 seems to be slightly different.

lol thanks - just ordered for my zl1 that isn't even built yet. It was $3.68 shipped, and won't be here til May, but even if it's total crap, i'm only out 4 bucks

Hood and rear bumper emblems from Amazon.
Flowtie, grille emblem, and center caps are all painted.

Totally worth it and looks 100x better than the chrome ones. You'll need 3 emblems total, 2 for heat extractor and 1 for rear bumper. For the grill you'll have to paint it, I haven't located a cheap replacement.

I painted my heat extractor gloss black to contrast the carbon. Rear and rear was in NFG, again to offset them against the black paint.

These badges and center caps look so good and tasteful they should be a factory option, with a royalty paid to you
