I was surprised it could only do 4.0 to 60, felt more like a 3.5.

So as other have said, your car definitely has something wrong with it

I can’t believe all the members here are saying how well this car performs and these amazing stat numbers, except for mine, I definitely need to take it in and see what’s going on, because the acceleration disappoints me a lot.

I’m currently going to take the vehicle to the dealer, I’ll keep this post updated thank you very much all so far, I put the original filter back in, so I don’t deal with any dealer warranty issues

My honest thoughts on this pathetic car (sorry to other SS owners)

what you need to do is drive another car just like yours. Maybe its a buddies car or at a dealer. i can bet you, you'll notice a difference and you'll know something is wrong with your car. there can't be lag in a Naturally aspirated Engine. its not a Turbo car.

Also if all hell fails slap a Throttle controller on it and i can promise you, you'll feel instant power.

My '19 A10 SS accelerates like raped ape from a stop.....it's the reason I decided not to spend the extra $$$ on a ZL1.

Unless I’m defining lag wrong, I hit the throttle at any angle from a cruising speed, it doesn’t respond or deliver the power immediately, as if a ZL1 would/does ( I never drove one, so I couldn’t tell)

there is a known "throttle lag" or lack of throttle response with these cars. Many peeps on here use the vitesse throttle controller to mask that problem. That being said, the "throttle lag" doesn't make your car feel as bad as you're describing. There's probably 10 threads discussing throttle lag. A tune will fix the "lag/response" issue.

Just wondering if the car has had this problem since you bought it. Did you notice it then.

Well speaking of tune, I don’t want to void the warranty.

Yes it actually has had it, but it’s been getting worse and worse.

Good luck with that at the dealer, going to take someone with experience and not someone that just follows the directions.

If they say it’s normal, insist on test driving a new one

Try the Vitesse. Many peeps love it. It doesn't void the warranty. Just be sure to disconnect it before going to the dealer.

Yeah if it has been getting worse something is up, definitely try to disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. When you open the trunk there is a small panel on the left with two indents, pull that out and you'll need a 10mm and a ratchet and loosen the terminal on the left, leave it for 30 seconds, then redo it and hopefully it'll fix the problem.

It’s currently in service being checked at, I haven’t unplugged the terminal yet, but what does it do again? I forgot.

When you disconnect the battery it flashes the ECU, from my knowledge if there was any bad codes or something wrong with the tables of the computer it will reset them.
