Holley Hi Ram Question
Anyone install a hi-ram and didnt have to cut the trim piece right above the IM or mess with the firewall? If so i would like to know. Im looking to get a hi ram but dont want to hack up anything if i dont have to.

I would like to do one as well but I think the silence here should speak loudly. You will have to cut your firewall to fit it and the stock hood will not fit without cutting. I dont believe there is any getting around that.

Well the hood clearance issue, i know was unavoidable. I got the COPO hood from Anderson Composites for that. I was just hoping i would be able to avoid messing with the firewall and cutting trim pieces if i could.

resurrecting this thread. Looking to do a high ram. I know i have to cut the hood. The cowl trim piece i think is what hes referring to as firewall part. Is that pretty easy to cut? anyone have pics? also is there any other modifications you need to do to fit the high ram?

I've seen a square cutout of this piece, it is plastic, I don't know how far back any metal is. Looks like a tunnel ram setup from the olddays, like EVEYBODY knows what your packing.
