Borla owners with black tips

Those that have went with the black tips, how do they hold up over time? The stainless is easy, just polish it when they get dirty and away you go, but since mine is a daily driver, I'm wondering how well would the black tips look in 2, 3, 4 years down the road?

I don't have Borla, but I have matte black MBRP axle back. You cannot even tell if they're dirty unless you touch 'em. I've driven all summer on mine and they look the same....matte black. I hated how dirty the chrome tips looked after just one day.

We haven't had any issues with them long term so far. We've been selling them for a while. The powder coating holds up very well.

Any pics of them installed? I think all I have seen is on Borla’s Site...nothing on a “real” car.

Just run a rag around them when I wash, like new.

Just don't let the exhaust stuff build up and your black tips will look good for years.

Borla is great with their warranties.. Just don't abuse or use harsh cleaner on them.
