Brakes and Rear Signal Lights

I noticed that the Brakes and Rear Signal Lights on Gen 6 are only using one lamp out of the rear dual lamp and I think the C7 (Stingray) is the same. I wished it would be both , like it is on the Gen 5 pre facelift (10-13).
How do you guys like it? Both or just one?
I hope it will be an aftermarket solution to this or maybe OFER (Gen5DIY) will make it work.
I think the inner lamp is used for reverse light, question is can it be shared: reverse and stop/signal on the inner lamp?

Just food for thoughts...

Impressive car, this Gen 6!!!

You mirror my thoughts EXACTLY.

I really don't like the one lamp lighting up on each side at all. It would look a million times better in my opinion if both lamps could be made to light up at the same time....and I would be willing to pay for a good aftermarket solution to this.

Hear that aftermarket guys? I'll be keeping an eye out for it.

By the way, this should probably be moved to the cosmetic section.
