Ragg Top 303 Chem Guy ?

I have a FIFTY convertible and want to do a treatment to the top, gets wet stays wet. Any advise on what is the absolute best? I have watched some vids on Ragg Top and 303.

303

24 months and 7k miles and my 303 treatment is still performing as strong as it did the day after I applied it. The Mistress is a garaged weekend/show car.

Bought the 2 bottle kit, followed the directions (important).

But ROLLED on (not sprayed) the coating using an $8 walmart mini-paint roller kit (I went with foam rollers). 1 bottle of 303 did 2 good coats. Rolling gives better coverage and penetration, and no overspray. You don't want overspray on your paint.

While you're at walmart or your favorite store, pick up a $3 lint roller. Really helps get the fine stuff off the fabric before you seal it in forever with the coating. Also reduces washing a huge amount. Most of the "stuff" that ever gets on the top is just dust/lint. I've only had to do a thorough wash the fabric top on my car to get out bee-pollen blobs, bird droppings, etc. maybe 4-5 times in 2 years. When I wash the car I just towel off the overspray that gets on the top. The lint roller gets 99% of the maintenance.

303.

I used it with my last convertible, use it with this one. It simply works.

I started with Ragg Topp but it didn't seem to last very long before the water didn't bead up so I switched to 303. Works good and lasts longer for me.

Just over a week ago I did my 2nd 303 treatment since purchased (Garage queen, but not a show vehicle by any means!) Starting with a Clean AND Dry top, I opened the vert top up a bit put a plastic sheet under to protect car, closed top, sprayed the top and brushed it in with foam brush. Multi coats brushed each direction and the final a light misting all over the top. Dried 24hrs, removed plastic, and now good to go!

I have applied it 2x since I bought my vert. It beads water like crazy and helps make routine cleaning very easy.

I have not used the 303 but the duragloss 341 works very well, still beads water 1 1/2 years after being applied.

Happened to wash the car today. Here is what the top looked like when I sprayed it with the water hose.
