Factory CAI Filter
My car came with this option from the factory. "6.2L performance air intake"
Every other CAI I have owned had an oiled filter. This one looks dry. Is it washable or anything? Or do I just treat it like a stock air filter, replace it when it looks clogged? |

You are right, it is a dry one.
Enhance the sound, style and performance of your vehicle with this 6.2L Cold Air Intake System. This system reduces air intake restriction up to 17% at 360 g/sec. It looks great under the hood, includes a high efficiency dry media air filter and all necessary installation hardware. Rigorously tested for durability, corrosion, and performance, this system is 50-state emissions compliant and will not void the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. https://www.chevrolet.com/performance/gen6camaro/intake Considering the filter is $70 to $90, it better be washable or reusable. well, i guess not: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=534583

It is NOT washable/Reusable. You must buy a new filter.
