We all said from the dig the ZL1 would rule and here's the proof. Great vid!

Damn, from a roll the HC says bye-bye and continues to pull away out of the camera view.

Looks like it was filmed in Saudi Arabia from the garb worn by the bystanders.

I hate roll racing.......once the Hell Cat gets going it just cant catch up from a dig...but from a roll it seems to be in the sweet spot.

Well it really depends on far back it was left with it spinning. First gear is pretty useless in those cars with those stock tires. I'd bet that it was pulling back in, just didn't have enough room and doesn't pull hard enough to come charging back by before the video ended or the hc could have stopped before the zl1.

I wonder how the dig race would go if BOTH cars had DR's, or at least the same type/size tires. Persoanlly, I have a hard time claiming victory against a car that just spins from a dig, bc I know it's not a true win, especially if I know it's a good stock vs stock matchup. If I can line up from a dig or roll and flat out, just outpower them, that's far more satisfying. No excuses, no bs, just got outran by a faster car.

I love my ZL1. I traded my 2016 Hellcat on it last week. But I can now say that I feel the Hellcat pulls a tad bit harder. The cars are simply freaks of nature in my opinion. 4500lbs and plow through road like no other once they get moving. The exhaust is louder, the blower is always whining. I don't know if these characteristics make it just "feel" faster but it definitely felt more raw.

Stock.....auto...street tire. It doesnt get more even then that. I expect similar results with drag radials. Heres another vid...roll racing cars with same power is decided by who gets the hit....seems so in this vid anyway.

Like the first Hennessy video when everyone called GM fail. Hennessy himself said ZL1'S wouldn't hang.
