seems they wanted us to stow our phones in the console where its plugged in and only use apple play and or android, For all of our phone needs but obviously no one wants that.

I'm ok with that. In the car I only WANT to use my phone for music. Annoys me when someone texts or calls. Leave me alone, I'm in my dream car, cruising. Don't want anyone intruding on the holiness of the moment.

I like this idea but i saw a post from someone else that had the dash material peeling off already. I'm worried that sticky pad might tear it off as well. At first, I thought that part of the dash was just plastic but appears to have some kind of coating over it....

I tried several of the cellphone holders that have been mentioned in the forums, but they either couldn't hold my Samsung Note 5, I hated having my A/C vent blocked or they wouldn't stay stuck to any surface in my car, so I finally found the perfect holder.

The arm is really stiff and doesn't move while I'm driving, but you can bend it to the position that you'd like. Also, the magnet/pivot can be positioned how you'd like it as well, but doesn't move while driving and the magnet is able to hold my Samsung Note 5 w/a case on it w/o any issues.

Eww I don't like that, but the way I have it set up the radio is supporting most of the weight, and the phone holder is just keeping my phone from flying all over the place. Only time will tell how it holds up.

Agreed..... Put them in your consol and at least you can use the controls if need be to recieve a text or send by voice. Texting or playing on your phone while operating a motorized vehicle is extremely dangerous for your self or even worse possibly a family out for a drive. I put operating a phone up there with drinking and driving. I got rear ended while stopped for a school bus waiting for children to get on the bus. The person that hit us was doing 80km playing on their phone.

I don't use my phone while driving but have a magnetic holder on the ac vent for my phone rather then have it in my pocket where it barely fits while sitting down. I hate texting in general but if need be to check i would pull over and deal with it. Everything else for me is Bluetooth.

On the wireless charging dock even when it's fully charged.. I paid for it might as well use it! That and I like to brag to my wife who has an iphone since her's can't do it.
