rim and tire question

In order to put all season tires would it work if I buy 2 of these http://www.phastekperformance.com/mo...O-ZL1-20x10-BG and put them on the rear of the car and then buy 285 all seasons for all 4 wheels? Does anyone see any issues arising?

Also, if anyone knows of a set of all seasons that will fit the car that would be very helpful. Even if they are larger or smaller but still fit the rims and drive well, that is ok with me.

It will work, but look funny. Those are gloss and stock ZL1 wheels are more matte/satin. Offsets and tire sizes would work though.

Thanks for clarifying. Are there any replicas that are exactly like the stock ones and does anyone have experience with replicas and do you recommend them?

I looked. They have a satin version. Those would match up fine. They also have a 20x10 +35 that would tuck it under the fender a little more. You couldn't rotate those though.

I assume the stock front rims are +23 offset?

I have the same rims on my 1LE. They look really good.

Not sure if stock front is +23 offset. It's never good to assume though. The offset should be stamped on the back of the wheel spokes. Pull a wheel off and look. Or call the dealer. But I'm not sure I would trust some of the knuckleheads I've dealt with at a dealer.

I messaged phastek asking if those rims are the same offset as stock front, we will see. I believe these are the tires I am going to go with, hopefully they can grip in the rear. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

Wheel measurements are below. You should have no issues with this wheel fitting the rear of the car.

ZL1-Style Wheel: 20x9" w/ +27mm Offset (Correct offset for mounting on the front of the 2010+ Camaro)
ZL1-Style Wheel: 20x10" w/ +35mm Offset (Correct offset for mounting on the rear of the 2010+ Camaro)
ZL1-Style Wheel: 20x10" w/ +23mm Offset (Stock ZL1 Front Wheel Size w/ offset for mounting on front of the Camaro)
ZL1-Style Wheel: 20x11" w/ +43mm Offset (Stock ZL1 Rear Wheel Size)

Now you can mount the 23mm offset wheel in the rear but the wheel will not sit as flush with the fender as the 35mm offset. But if you are looking to just have an all season tire on there it should not be a problem.

Thanks very much for the reply. Maybe I am better off with the +35 offset since my goal here is just to keep the stock look but have all season tires since the stock tires really aren't practical for safe daily use especially rain. I just haven't seen anyone else on here try what I am talking about doing on a zl1.

I have The 23 offset all the way around like the 1LE in gloss square set up for rotation on michelin AS3. Half the noise, very quite, and no side splatter from every loose pebble in the street. Every car event I go to every Zl1 owner wants these wheels over satin. My stock rims still in the basement with Goodyears. On second thought I think the satins are the way to go...

You could call factory reproductions since that is where phastek gets them from......FYI
