So yep the entire ordering process is frustrating being as it is the year 2017 I would have thought things would be a little more smooth & organized but maybe that's just me. As far as two production locations that just confirms to me they are not educated in their jobs. Anyways just my .02...... |

I dont think its really education, I think its just GM trying to keep it Tight lip while trying to provide limited answers. I really wish they would just be a bit more open to saying weather or not you actually get the 1LE. |

Well according to the dealer I'm dealing with they got allocation for a convertible and a 1le and now they just got word they can get a coupe so if anyone if Edmonton is looking westgate has a coupe available but I'm pretty sure for a fact mine should be the 1le lol if not I will be very very mad but I also see ppl in the states are getting vin numbers for the 1le's so hopefully I will get one before too long

I can't remember the site, but there is a GM customer service web site you can go to. It's all through email. You give them your order number and they will give you your current status. They even put me on weekly email updates that were sent to me automatically. All I had to do was ask. I'm sure someone on here can provide the information. That way you get the information straight from GM, and not filtered through your dealer or sales person.

We prefer daily updates over weekly. This is 2017 and an expensive purchase to most(long wait too boot). GM's chat agents can find out more then a dealer but it takes time. I had to wait two weeks to get an answer that should've took days.
