Are you running stock exhaust with headers? Is it much louder headers vs stock manifolds?

I've started mine in the garage and yes its a lot louder. Is it too load inside the car going down the road? I started it for a friend yesterday that is a old school muscle guy and said that it sounded like old muscle now.
