If it's the same car like mine or just a nice looking sports car in general, I wouldn't mind at all.

Now if it's a rusty truck, that's a different story. Happened to me a few days ago, this rust box decided to park beside me right after I parked and was about to shut the car off despite there being quite a few spots around. Pulled out of the spot to get a different one.

The key to a deep, beautiful paint finish is not ceramic coating, wax or any type of sealant you put on it, it's the condition of the clear UNDER that coating. This requires proper paint correction and the removal of swirls/scratches/contamination/oxidation/etc... Then once the finish has been restored, you lock that in with a wax/sealant/coating. Then you maintain that best you can.

I have been detailing 15 years or so. I don't think I have never, ever seen wax alone make any difference in the depth/shine of paint. It's always the prep before hand, in terms of polish and finishing compounds that do all the work visually. Again, the wax/sealant just locks it all in and adds a bit of protection.

Wash -> Clay -> Correction -> Protection

THIS! THIS ! THIS!

Spent a total of 6+ days (2 days per car) during the early COVID lockdown Washing, Claying, Compounding, Polishings, IPA Wipe-down, Ceramic Coatings, Ceramic Boosting 3 of my family cars... Well worth the effort...

On Friday, this car (my Daily Driver, a 2012 (bought in Oct 2011) Hyundai Sonata SE in Pacific Blue Pearl) turns 9 years old, it has spent the last 2 years outside and a good amount of the years prior outside (although not exclusively)...

This is AFTER my TLC during the Covid lockdown, it looked fairly rough, prior...

(Disclaimer: I grew up working in a paint and body shop for many years, but nothing I did here couldn't be done by someone with some very basic car care skills, it isn't rocket science)...

Looks good. I never got into using a buffer and such as i would be scared i would mess it up. But done plenty of clay barring.

Awesome job bro!

I bet one could safely shave his ball sack with a straight razor with your door as a mirror.

Exactly. I welcome this. Any make or model I don’t care but if they are an enthusiast they will give room.

BTW, sorry for hijacking, but you guys don't get harassed by the locals for no front license plate? With defunding, i suppose APD has better things to do. Your cars looks so nice without that front billboard of a license plate.
