ZL1 Recaro seats in 1SS

So I’m currently trying to install my ZL1 seats in my 16’ 1SS, i picked up seats last weekend and go all of them in with no problem except for the driver seat! Only issue is that driver doesn’t get power when harness is connected...I’ve seen a thread where someone suggested swapping covers and foam..but also tapping the power wire to a different pin! So my question is does anyone have an idea which one? Has anyone else done this?

I tried tackling this exact issue. I was on the phone with Gen5DIY along with multiple dealerships trying to get diagrams of the seats and harnesses. Long story short I couldn't get it to work and I didn't put in my stock seats back in. Im definitely still looking into making this work so if I have any developments I'll post it or shoot you a PM. Definitely following this thread good luck!

what about lethal hammer didnt he get em to work?

1SS and 2SS have different seat harnesses. The 2SS is the same as the ZL1. Thats how Matt at Lethal Garage got his to work. For us people with a 1SS we have to figure out another way unfortunately

What about the recaros from a 1SS 1LE?

Yeah lethal has a 2SS and yes for us 1SS it isn’t plug n play! 1LE recaros work bc they don’t have memory seat function! But i want the ZL1 recaros :/

oh yea weird ive been looking at getting some zl1/1le seats i figured they were the same!

Why not order the wiring harness, and etc for the 1LE Recaro’s and swap them into your ZL1 Recaro’s. I’d think that would be the easiest route.
