That was one disadvantage in buying a CO car where front plates are required, the front plate bracket was already installed. If I removed it would have left four ugly holes in the bumper so I decided to make the best of it.

One of my favorite drives is over Gates Pass through Saguaro National Park. My wife and I also escape the heat occasionally up to Mt. Lemmon for lunch. Both are fantastic roads for driving and for taking pictures.

You get old because you stop playing.”

Go for it !!!

I am 57 as well, and on 8/3/22 picked up our new 2023 LT1 Coupe in Shadow Gray Metallic:

6Spd Manual
RS package
Tech Package/Bose
NPP performance Exhaust
Power sunroof
Illuminated Sill Plates

17 mpg on the first tank driving it like Jeff Gordon and 24.5 on the second tank on easy highway driving. Amazing tech to have 455hp and get almost 25mpg. An 1970 LS6 chevelle with similar power would be lucky to get 8-9mpg! The posts about life being too short to drive boring cars is exactly correct!!

I'll be 57 in a few months. I've owned Camaros since I was 19 as this is my 6th Camaro and by far the most well built. Six years of ownership and my 2017 2SS 6 speed manual still drives and smells like it's brand new (10,500 miles). Still love starting it up and going through the gears. May try for one more before their demise.

I’m 59 and I recently purchased this. I will admit, getting in and out does take time, lol!

Growing older doesn’t mean growin up, don’t have regrets of ‘I should have’ moments. Live for today and enjoy yourself!

What's the update? Did you get the order placed and get an order number?

Curious to see how long it takes you to get to 3400 and what your TPW will be with the recaro seat/M6/PBC engine combo.

Update is: total cluster and awaiting on the Lot stock for the perfect Camaro to be presented to me.

Reality, no I won’t hand a Gnote$ for a mass production car and wait 3-6 months.
So, as cars fill the lots and yes they eventually will, I’ll cruise the lots and select a base LT1, 6M, coupe. Stay tuned.

Exhibit A: Car is available on 9/11, for a test drive.

Go ZL1. You won’t regret it.

I’m a 1965. Turned 57 in July.

Well, the O.P.'s asking ownership questions at 57,....He's just a boy,.....I'm 77 & thinking about it!
A few more "localized" concerns in Aussie though,..only 375 2019-20 ZL1s converted to RHD by HSV, we have large distances away from any type of mechanical, service, breakdown assistance, making a spare wheel an absolute necessity, & whilst I guess spare parts aren't a worry to you guys, finding a reliable source from Aussie to over to where you guys are maybe an issue too.
They have also gone up in value since their original sale date/new price!
Pickles.
