Some advice given and help needed

First off,
I own a 2010 camaro ss, automatic transmission with 68,000 miles on it. Car is stock with an air intake. A few months ago I noticed someone dumped a strawberry shake in my radiator (not really but you’ll understand in a minute). So I drained radiator and pulled transmission cooler lines. As suspected, the trans cooler ruptured in bottom of radiator.

Sooooo, I jacked car up, leveled it, dropped tranny pan, oil looked surprisingly clean and free of antifreeze. I did notice a milky film on pan. I cleaned everything I could thoroughly, taking trans lines out and cleaning/blowing out with compressed air and solvent.

I installed new radiator, filled back up with new coolant, installed new trans oil filter, filled back up with new fluid, crossed fingers and drove it. Car ran fine for a week until yesterday. I was slowing down, turning into my neighborhood when car made a loud clunk into first gear and is now stuck in first. Thinking there was enough coolant trapped in trans to do damage.

My advice first:
Get rid of the oil cooler route through radiator. Get an aftermarket cooler. It ain’t worth wrecking your $3,000k+ transmission over a cheap $100.00 radiator.

My ask for help:
What is a good reputable company to go through to purchase a new rebuilt transmission so I can get this thing back on the road?

Too close to summer time to continue to stare at it in the garage lol!

Thanks in advance!

Update to the camaro radiator fluid in tranny:

Ended ip flushing tranny 3 times, driving it hard and shifts went back to normal. Been driving it ever since and have not had another issue with tranny. I got lucky and caught it in time!

So, I've seen this many times and across our whole line of vehicles. The water that's in your coolant delaminates the friction material on your clutches and in the torque converter clutch. In as much as you don't want to spend the money (who does) my suggestion is you correct the cross contamination problem and then have the trans professionally rebuilt. Any less, and you will be chasing problems and eventually doing just what I suggest.

At least he's made it a year, but he doesn't say how much he has actually driven it.
