Market Analysis on 2SS 1LE? Average used prices?

Hey guys, 1LE’s have skyrocketed since 2017. Curious if anyone can share what they paid for their 2019 or later 1SS or 2SS 1LE’s? A10’s or 6M.

I’m seeing left over ‘21’s and used ‘19’s and ‘20’s going for high $50’s.

The below post is where I think the market sits for 1LE's. This is a 2SS 1LE that sold for $50K.

https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=610528

I see other posts at higher prices, and their not getting much interest. Likewise, the 1LE's online priced high have been for sale for a while.

I think some overpaid for used cars they need to sell, and some are not eager to let go of the market that used to be, and still hope to get top dollar.

That one posted was a distress sale, and while it did have PDR it was an auto. Think the three pedal cars are commanding higher amounts. Rates have skyrocketed many people are electing to hold off pleasure purchases, but these are still hard to find due to constraints. JMO

About a month ago I picked up a brand new 2023 1SS 1LE with manual transmission for $48,120 including all fees. Just needed to pay taxes and license plate which I did myself at MVD.
There was also a new 2SS with a MT that they were asking 3K over MSRP and was in the high 50s. I went with the less expensive 1SS option.

I have my 2022 SS-1LE M6 manual listed in the sale section. I'll try to attach the link below. I’d let it go for $50k… only 800 miles.

OP: Thanks for input. Very helpful. Im comparing modded ZLE’s to future mods on a SS 1LE. Just trying to figure out best bang for buck. Might PM about the last post for sale SS.

Looking for a track focused car I can still have fun with on street, but built for track work. Road race track days.

I have a 2022 manual 1SS 1LE which I am getting dealer offers of low 40’s. I’d sell it for $45,500. The car only has 230 miles on it. My ZL1 has a tpw of 12/19.

I have it listed for $45,500 on a couple of the Camaro FB pages, and I received some people who were interested, but no one has really stepped up. I have had a few offers ranging from high $30’s to low $40’s, but obviously $42k from the dealer works out to $45,500 with the tax savings.

The market is dropping because of interest rates. Most people have to get loans to purchase cars, and 6% interest makes a $45,000 car a lot more than at 2%.

Thanks for the offer. And I completely agree about the interest rates. I have my ‘22 C8 for sale and hardly a bite with a few lowball dealer offers. Was trying to track something cheaper, but at this point, a set of wheels and brake pads might do the trick. The lure of selling it and paying cash for a 1LE seemed possible for a moment. A 1LE or ZLE is something I have been toying with for a few years.

Do not pay 50k for a 2019/20. Those cars are about to be 3 and 4 years old. I don’t care how many miles are on them, age matters just as much as miles. Those ones listed for 50k aren’t moving at 50k. Prices are dropping and it’s not just because of interest rates. Dealers stopped paying nonsense trade in prices which is going to also drop the private party values. I’ve been watching the 1le market for a while as I am considering jumping in one and right now, prices are way down. I think they’ll continue to drop for another year and be back to normal.

Also to the poster who mentioned the one car for sale being automatic and that’s why it’s cheaper, in my experience when car/window shopping, manual cars don’t go for more until the cars are older. When they are still fairly new the edge tends to go to automatic cars. Check out the prices of used 6th gens and you’ll see manuals and autos are pretty closely priced. Then go check out prices of 4th gens and you’ll see the manuals for for around 4K more. I think this is because auto enthusiasts are buyers of older cars whereas not everyone who buys a newer sports car is really much of an enthusiast. Remember we enthusiasts make up only a fraction of the market.

The market tells it all. Cars priced right are selling, cars priced too high are still for sale.

It really is that simple, whether it rates or downturn in economic certainty doesn't really matter. It doesn't change where the market currently is.
