Simple quick question, LS3 oil pump purge

Good day guys, 2010 Camaro M6 ss, I changed my oil pan gasket and removed oil pickup installed new O-ring and removed oil pump spring to shim spring for bit more press.

Think oil pump would still have enough oil in it or too much air and would need purging/filling from side of block? Its tight to even see where to fill if needed.

Thanks guys, didnt know who to ask.

Hold accelerator pedal to floor and crank engine over. Engine won’t start and you prime the pump

You can also manually fill the oil pump. Which is what I do first before before priming it via other way. This ensures there is oil in the pump.
