Winterizing while working on it

So I have a question this will be my first year I have to winterize a car. I have read how to more or less winterize while not using it. The issue I have is i will be working on the car while its in the garage.

So do I still add something to the gas ?

Also is it a bad idea leaving the car lifted on quickjacks for a long period of time. Planning on doing some suspension work and also headers and exhaust.

I stored numerous vehicles from Oct till end of May and I never added anything to the gas. Vehicles were atv’s, sports cars, boats, Motorhomes, etc.
And using Jack stands for a prolonged period won’t hurt anything as long as they were at the proper place.

Adding Stabil wont hurt the fuel system, caution from experience, not to warm up your garage quickly meaning from low temps to mid temps. Lifting the vehicle, I think you'll be fine as long as it's from correct lift points.

I was worried about the suspension being hanging from the car being in the air?

What exactly happened when you heated your garage?

It's when I had 70 Chevelle, temp out side was maybe 25, turn on torpedo heater probably got temp up to 60, I was doing tranny pull for new clutch and throw out bearing, basically everything started sweating, engine, tranny etc. ( dripping wet).

I use suggested amounts of TECHRON Concentrate and STA-BIL for winter storage months. It's on a BATTERY TENDER PLUS, covered on a four post lift in a heated shop. I do not overfill the tires but insure they're filled to 30# and check them monthly. I work on it routinely during the winter months to escape wife's 'honey dos'.

As I posted, it's a BATTERY TENDER PLUS (@1.25AMP), made by DELTRAN.

I don't think it's such a good idea to let the wheels hang for a long time.

The reason that a torpedo heater made all the cold surfaces "sweat" was that water vapor is one of the products of combustion of propane (and gasoline), and all that moisture condensed on the cold surfaces.
