Zl1 headers

So im looking into getting some headers and xpipe and use my npp suitcase.

The shop that I would like to use recommended a kooks system which is headers with green cats and there xpipe. The problem is its expensive $3400.

So I was thinking using maybe the new CSP headers and figure out what x-pipe I can use. Has anyone tried the CSP and hows the fit and finish?

What are members running with there stock suitcase?

Kooks and ARH are great, but take a look at Dynatech. American made and full stainless construction like the other 2, but found the pricing to be much more reasonable.

The issue with Dynatech is I don't see a full x pipe .

Damn! why are they $3400?!

I have kooks 2" ceramic coated catless. Im pretty sure I paid $1500 for them with the catless pipes.

Are they charging you the $3400 for install and tuning? If so then add a few more things to make the tuning worth it. If the 3400 is for the part and install that is a bit pricey. If the 3400 is just for the parts. Run, run away, run away fast. They are robbing you.

Whoever that performance shop is......run! No way, headers and x-pipe should cost you $3400.

The green cats are expensive. Nice to cut down on the raw gas smell. I had vengeance install the coated headers and green cats. A little while later I brought the car to a local fab shop with a texas speed x pipe. He worked his magic and tucked the x pipe up into the tunnel, covered the tunnel with heat reflective lining, etc. Using the Texas speed as a starting point saved time for him and now I have a custom x pipe that's nice and tucked like stock. It might be worth a look for you to try the same formula.

I paid $1800 for my ARH (Headers,cats,Xpipe)
$3400 seems excessive!

If you want a great set of headers with a full Xpipe check out the Stainless Works headers. We have some great deals running for forum members at all times and the quality is second to none.

The full Xpipe is a great idea. We consistently make more power on these LT4 cars when we remove the crushed pipe in front of the muffler.

Lol, you need a new shop.
The ARH headers went in easier than the stock manifolds. Probably the easiest headers install I’ve ever done.
I did get mine on sale a year ago, $3400 stilll seems like a lot
