2020 zl1 check engine light

So I picked up a used 2020 zl1 A10 with 3300 about a week ago. I have only put 300 miles and today I was pushing it a little hard on Manuel and the check engine light turned on and when I get to a complete stop,I could not go over 40mph and making a slipping noise. So I drove home nice and slow and I plugged in reader and it shows me a p0331 which is a knock sensor. Is this sound right not sure why it would sound like something is slipping. Has anyone had issues with such low miles?

Think god I didn't gt to pick my performance shop yet, I guess I'm going to have to hold off.

Which should be my next step I dont wont the stealership to come up with some BS.

Have any mods been done to your ZL1 by the first owner?

Take it in and get them to diagnose and fix it.
There should be no slipping or noises. The car should be laughing and asking for more. Most people around here drive their ZL1s a “little” hard.
Get it back to them and tell them to fix it. These cars are built to be driven hard over and over.

That’s my advice to you too! Take it in to the dealer because the car is still under warranty.

Absolutely, don't even call, take the car straight there and get them to fix it. These cars should run like butter when driving normally and pull like a freight train with no weirdness whatsoever when pushed hard.

Agreed. You need to nip this in the butt immediately. If the previous owner messed with the tuning or anything else the dealer needs to know they sold you a tampered car. Hopefully, its a minor issue and not related to any mods.
Did you buy it from a Chevrolet dealer?

There have been a few people with this malfunction code. It ended up being a bad knock sensor. A very cheesy and cheaply made part...Get it to the dealer and I'm sure they will replace it and you will be back to perfect.

I'm at the dealership as we speak, it sucks that it is raining and car can't be pushed. Hopefully once they clear the code and just drive it normally it pops back up.

Just like I expected they didn't do nothing. They cleared code and said if it comes back bring it back. I guess no upgrades for me for a while
