4 door Camaro
Yup. It's on the way. As an electric sedan, not an suv. I feel sick to my stomach.

When GM confirms it I’ll believe it. There’s been so much shit said about the future of the Camaro that hasn’t been confirmed that I’ve decided when they announce it I’ll believe it.
That said if it’s true that is gonna be a kick in the balls no doubt.

I believe Automotive News broke this story.

If they do this why do they need to call it Camaro? Are they completely out of naming creativity? Maybe they can call it the Guardian. Oh wait, that's the name of Cleveland's baseball team. How about Chevelle? At least those were available as more-door cars.

I’ll believe it when I see it. So far it’s just speculation via “confirmed” reports and other wording. When spy photos start popping up I’ll begin to be sad.

I don’t fully buy the story because there has been so much BS stories about the future of the Camaro. Do they know that it’s going to be 4 doors or just in a basic way that it’s going to be on an Sedan based EV platform so people assume 4 doors? 5th Gen Zeta platform was shared with Holden. The Gen 6 Camaro shares the basic Alpha platform with the Cadillac ATS & CTS. Gen 7 Camaro in EV form sharing an EV platform with EV Sedan’s wouldn’t be surprising. If you got a gen7 Camaro it’d have to be more practical than the current 6th. Gen car.

Jesus. I would rather they just retire the name again and bring it back when they have some actual inspiration like they did with the 5th gen.
This idea is absolutely unnecessary, as there are plenty of other names they could use. This will poison the Camaro legacy.

Appears to be the current trend, unfortunately. But what do I care; I already have my ride. She should hold up well into my twilight years, so I could give jack all about current car line ups and major changes. I'll cross the new car bridge when the Lord gives me the green light on that.

Amen Brutha! I've got mine and LS parts will be plentiful for many years to come. Some of the more obscure items that are being discontinue will get hard to find, but the aftermarket will step up.
