2015 Camaro LT. Car has 60k miles, no mods. 2 days ago I was driving to work and a message popped up, It said Service Stabilitrak and it stopped cruise control from working..no big deal. Drove the rest of the way to work,then home.

Today on the way to work I was going 70 down the highway and the display in the middle goes blank, the speedometer and rpm gauges drop to 0 ( even though im going 70) it stays like this for roughly 30seconds, then everything comes back on. 20 seconds after that I get a check engine light, abs light, brake light all on.. Make it to work, on the way home everything cut out/went blank about 8 times in 30minutes, when its in the blank stage it seems like im running higher rpm..

Any ideas on what this can be? fixes?

Disconnect the battery hope a reset helps…it won’t cost anything to try

The first question in all Stabilitrak warning light cases is:

How old is the battery?

original battery to the car, so 6 years old. Drove it to autozone today, no codes/lights came on. Bought a new battery, put it in and drove home, nothing.. moved my car 2 foot over so I could mow, Engine,Abs,Brake lights back on with the new battery.

Got a suggestion on which reader to buy, i read alot wont read the abs codes

Haven't drove it for a few days, walked outside to notice my brake lights are on. Nobody had hit the fob or been in the car for days.
