Yup, there just showing off the higher tier models to get people interested. Then you will see the cheap plastic bumpers, molding and all that on the base when its closer to that time.

Good point. I stand corrected on my "all Ford" statement.
Having said that Chinese trannies in Mustangs have been a well known issue as an example. And it didnt stop with the Mustang.

My key point was that where the parts get assembed doesnt mean much imo as the parts come from all over the place this being a global village these days...

I think Camaro has always been a well put together car albeit gen 6 now has a thinner paint and many seem to leave assembly line with mis torqued suspension components. Regardless of where the car is put together it is a sum of many parts which are made wherever a business case dictates. Such as wheels are made in China for example. Etc.etc etc.
