What is this??

Hi guys, I’m hoping you all can help. The lady friends 2016 Mustang (yes I know it’s a mustang but I need help lol) has this ugly thing show...I have no idea what it is, nor what to do to get rid of it. It’s almosy like a run mark, and when you run your finger across it has a weird feeling to it.
I’ve tried: claying, ultimate Polish with white and orange pads...won’t go away. It’s hard to get on camera or even see but still. Is this anything serious?
I’ve tried googling and that was useless.

If you can feel it when rubbing your finger across it, then it's either a different height or different texture. Impossible to be certain from that photo, but I'd bet a dollar on it being a thin/missing spot in the clear coat or a smeared out gel.
