for the price I like 5w40 MST...the new Mobil 1 0w40 is fine but I doubt data would prove one has better performance/durability than the other. Both are Dexos 2 approved and that is all that matters in my court.

That's what I put in my car, and then I got all concerned because the bottle does not actually say synpower. So, at least I am not the only one using it. Finding 5w40 dexos2 locally (smallish town Iowa) is a pain in the ass. There's always Amazon.

with a whipple and tune with cai what oil would you guys recommend?
how often would you change it. I usually let the digital 50% mark then it's new Mobile 5-30. |

Had done the same in my Vette and tons of track days over 10+ yrs. She is still going strong (original motor plus a cam) for a new owner and more track days. |
