Engine misfire
Hey guys,
May be getting hyper paranoid 😂 just had a trackday with my 18 ZL1, and after it feels... Odd. Kinda feels slightly down on power, and idle feels rougher than I remember. No CEL trouble codes, although on my interceptor gague there's a misfire menu and I can see misfiring on cyl 3 and 5 on idle. But again no trouble code. First time I noticed this and it may be me just being paranoid 😂 but is this something seemed Normal for these engines? 11k miles had the recommended oil placed before the this past weekend. Thanks |

You could have fouled up a plug or two. Any mods?

The plugs wires on these cars have caused way too many "random/weird" issues. They are very easy to mistakenly assume they are fully inserted on coils. You will feel almost 2 clicks, one small and one big one and then you are fully inserted.
Suggest you go to those specific cylinders, remove the plug wires and fully insert them. If you still get the misfires then your choice on inspecting plugs or bringing to dealer (cringe).
