That's actually a pretty nice idea

Nothing beats physical buttons that are always present and guaranteed to work 100% of the time (as opposed to having to make sure the phone is with me, bluetooth+wifi is on, android auto is connected, the radio is on and I'm actually on the AA screen—a laundry list of conditions), but this does have some of the cool factor.

LOL, yes just make sure your phone is with you. The best part about this, the app will alert you if you forgot to shut you garage door, I know I've forgot to shut mine many times before. The police have even knocked on my door at 2am to tell me my garage was still open, lmao how nice of them right? I'm sure they were looking for someone that night. I am sure the newer garage door openers come with this cool stuff, but this is a nice $40 add on feature that I never knew existed until now. I will just keep my old opener in the glovebox just in case it don't work one day.
