It sounds like an isolated incident like some others and not a problem with all Mosaic Black cars. I would just tell all people to look at their paint well regardless of the color. They're all painted on the same assembly line with the same robots. It looks like you have an earlier build so it may be that they were still calibrating the machines.

I hope it was just something in the program for the Mosaic Black paint jobs. Our VIN numbers are not even close and our paint jobs are identical.
I'm assuming they have a different program for some of the colors especially Pearl coats

Obviously it's a problem with the color it happened to more than one car , common sense is all it takes . Just trying to make others aware

I appreciate you making everyone aware, but all you originally said was "Check your cars out!!!! problem with the Mosiac black paint"

How does that do anything except incite worry? At least tell people what to look for so they can check it out or point people towards another thread since you are bringing common sense into this. I had no other information to go on and when I first looked at your second post your photos weren't attached yet so I still had nothing to go on except you have "spots that didn't get covered."

And since a link to your other post which is very descriptively titled "I'm so pissed" isn't posted yet, here you all go

That's some pretty gnarly missed spots. Good catch.

EDIT: Dave, I posted this before your post disappeared talking about where the dead spots were.

Well I'm sorry ,But it just seems like you are always getting on my nerves about stuff I post , I'm just here to help someone if they need know about something that might be wrong . I come one here and look and it has been a good thing and has helped me along the way. Yes I'm a little pissed off that I spent over 50,000 on a car and some of the car didn't get painted. I wouldn't post something on here thar wasn't the truth unlike some I've seen , So yes if you have a mosiac black car I would be looking it over and making sure the it has proper paint coverage, you spent alot of money and even paid extra for a premium color and it might be F'ed up . I'm sorry no offense just trying to help.... I'm probably not making any sense because I'm so

I don't blame you. I'd be pissed if I had those issues also. And I apologize if I was getting on your nerves about stuff. I can't even recall replying to any of your other posts off the top of my head so it's definetlt nothing personal. And honestly, I still don't feel like I was singling you out in my above post about it being isolated. I asked you to elaborate and when you did I said it's probably not a problem with all Mosaic black cars (which is true) and even offered a possible reason in that you had an early build car. Again, sorry if you felt attacked.

Gotcha. I mainly made the post to get the link to the other thread up, then noticed it had already been done so just deleted the post.
Drove the 50 miles today to check out the one car in the whole area that is the same as mine. The VIN # was right in the middle of ours so I didn't get my hopes up. Sure enough...same bad spots, wasn't quite as bad as mine...but still bad!
