Aftermarket injector selection

I’m pricing +30% injectors and I’m seeing FIC and XDI brands. There’s about a $400 difference in the two and both are a bit in the pricey side lol. Is either brand better than the other? Anyone know the differences in the two brands?

If you haven't, perhaps you might find more input over on HPTuners. There might be some useful stuff there, too.

Never used XDI but Fuel Injector Connection (not to be confused with Fuel Injector Clinic) is spotty.

Out of my own curiosity - why are you going with this route? I haven't done the maths, but, is PI about the same or less? I know tuning is more complicated with adding PI, but I'm just curious.

I’m upgrading ported oem TB to 103, standard Rotofab to Big Gulp and Stage X porting the stock blower. That’s gonna pretty much kill my ethanol content due to injector PW. I’m looking at doing the +30 injectors while the blower is off to gain PW headroom and add ethanol back in to the mix. My research says that the stock fuel pump with JMS booster will support the +30s and I’ll be under 725whp, so my high side should also be good. Staying with stock pulleys.

I have FIC 30% over in stock if that helps you.

You will run out of high side pump next.

The FIC's seem to be hit or miss...you either get a good set or get a set that has issues. A friend of mine put a set in his Turbo SS and they were causing weird issues with part throttle fueling. FIC sent him another set and they were fine. GPI told him that they have had seen this happen a few times. I haven't heard or read any negative reports on the XDI yet.

Thanks for the input. The XDIs seem to be running about $400 less than FIC also.

Not if you know where to look....FIC are the cheapest.

Your currently holding 75-80psi low side and 2900 high side now?
