There's got to be one person going back to stock or something with these that's willing to part with these at some price...

I want to run the AWE resonated touring minus cats like I did on my last car, I don't have an issue paying GT Haus money but it's so damn loud and I don't care for their vacuum valve solution. So here we are.

I think GTHaus sells the midpipe alone for $1K, but it looks like a shop will need to make something to connect it to the AWE as GTH looks a tad short.

Good luck either way!

Thanks I actually considered this as well...but looks like it will be a bit of a hackjob to piece it all together. I also wanted the resonated AWE center section so that's also a pickle.

I just wish someone going back to stock or something had a set of these I could snag to make my life easier lol.

I have the catback in hand now, I'm dying here. There's really not a single person willing to sell me these?

I'll settle for anything that will fit with the AWE catback...although I'm not sure there are any other direct fit options.

I didn't see anyone suggest this but can't you just go to any exhaust shop (if there is no performance exhaust shop) and ask them to make a custom pipe so that you could
"swap it out at the track and then put the cats back on when you leave the track". I don't know where you're from if that's a big deal or not, but just an idea. I actually had a shop do that for back in the day when I was stationed in San Diego and it worked out great to put back on for the stupid emission testing they do.

It's only a matter of time before someone starts reproducing and selling these on the low. At least thats what I'm hoping

Yeah I could care less if they are actually old AWE ones .. If someone wants to whip up a set that fits the same and same construction/materials, they got my $300 easily lol.

This is probably my next course of action... But I'm in Denver so I might have a hard time finding someone willing to do it.

Go for bolt in pipes that you can unbolt. It may cost a little more but at least you can put them in and if you have to do emission testing you can always just bolt them back in later for a day or two to get your emission stamp. And if you tell them they are going to be used only for track use they should be fine with it as long as you pull in with cats and pull out of their shop with the cats installed. what you do after that has nothing to do with them.

I'll keep an eye on this thread for you. Had I known this a couple months ago, I would have given you mine knowing my car was going to sit for a while. I'm overseas in the Navy now and probably won't be back until October. I am working on getting a set of Texas Speed headers with which the PLP's I don't believe will work. So if you don't have another seller, and I manage to get the work done through friends then I will let you know. Otherwise, good luck.
