I agree, wondering if they've verified they're good at e60. The "regular" size intake and 95mm may limit the airflow enough to run it combined with the injectors and pump. Would have a better understanding if he knows boost and what lambda it's tuned at. Seems King shoots for .82 I think?

King knows his stuff so if fuel looks good then send it. Would give me an idea how much e can be added with just injector and pump

All really depends. No Cam and Max effort bolt ons, usually the high side will drop first. With a cam and max effort then the low side is a problem. It really all depends on how much power and mods. I think IMO people should skip the JMS booster and put a real pump in. It just makes more sense to me. I know some people dont want to drill the tank, but if done right its not an issue, and you'll never need to worry about needing fuel upgrades in the future. I'm at 850whp and my low side is holding at 80+ PSI even at E40.

I don't see the high side holding pressure with the ported blower and pulley on E60 but every car is different. They didnt expect my car to be able to run E40 but it did, but i like to keep it at E30 as it starts to get into the 6.3ms range at E40.

I think it will run out of high side on that setup with e60. Many guys are ok letting high side slip a few hundred psi, but once it start falling 3-400 it gets in trouble quick. The upgraded high side does very little on a lt4 car. Run it on pump and ease the ethanol in and watch the high side fuel pressure close. Low side and injector is solid. I would trim the E content back until you do a camshaft.

I’m keeping the JMS booster on mine just because it’s already installed and should be enough for my end goal. If I decide down the road to go bigger blower I will do the low side pump. If I was starting from scratch again I’d probably consider the low side pump first. I plan to run as much ethanol as the high side supports, wherever that lands will be what it is. I’m not sure if OP will reach e60 but I have an advantage there with the altitude. All interesting stuff. Will be fun seeing it play out.

Cam, have you already had the tune completed by King?
Just wondering because I'm max e30 in normal weather. If I can go e60 with just injectors and pump I'd be tempted. Just don't know if I'm pushing more air with the bigger intake/tb, Interested to know how much boost your making
Right now King has me tuned with the following mods:

-CAI
-LPE TB
-Headers/Exhaust
-Flex Fuel
-E50-E55
.84 Lambda

With E50 the low side was just starting to drop with no JMS. Injectors were 5.5 I believe. That was also after he added two degrees of timing “24” then had to add fuel back in from picking up power. The FPCM settings haven’t been played with yet. I just got my TCM unlocked and installed. Waiting for the HPFP and injectors to show up so I can finish the install. On E35 it had plenty of fuel.

Brett @ Pray Performance has run the FIC +30 & LPE HPFP @ 700whp on his Dyno with full pump E and there was plenty of fuel on a stock cam ZL1 with similar mod list as OP.

Either way won't really know until I log it. My guess is it will handle E60 with stock low side. I will probably have to dial back high side pressure to take strain off low side and that will make the injectors work harder but there will be plenty of injector to work with.

Looks good, thanks for the info. Seems to be around stock boost on that log. My guess with the ported blower and pulley maybe 12.5 psi depending on air? Interested to see the results

What about a cam, or am I missing it? You will under perform without one.

Installing a cam is whole lot more work. It’s pretty much a full on build. Everything the OP is doing is essentially bolt ons.

Installing a cam was originally the go to method on these cars to get more fuel and gain another 50-70whp. This ideology was used before there was more affordable fueling options. It's also a great way to make more power without spinning the stock supercharger harder. However things have evolved over the years and again we now have cheaper fueling options along with larger superchargers and improved port programs for the stock supercharger to increase efficiency.

For example...look up airtroops thread on his basically stock motor LT4 CTS-V3. With a 2650 swap and ToohighPsi port injection plates the car made over 800whp on E85. That is with stock heads, cam, exhaust down to the cats.

You can get LPE DI pump and +30 injectors for around 3,740.00. Or you can get Mikes Port Injection plate system for around 2k. Both of those options are cheaper then paying somebody to pull the engine to swap a cam. The LPE +30 combo is going to max around 700whp on full E, probably 750ish with E50 with a bolt-on LT4.... Mike's PI plate system will go 800whp + before needing to address some other areas of the build but the fueling is there for 1k whp. Changing injectors and high side is much more simplistic but obviously more limited. Swapping a cam is going to run 5-6k(unless doing the work yourself) and you will make about 700-730whp on 93. Maybe 750whp with E30 mixed in. So a little more power then the LPE +30 bolt-on combo but nothing drastic. I bet the LPE +30 combo on E50+ runs more consistent being it will be able to tolerate much higher MAT without pulling timing.

Either way the OP already has a 11:1 H/C 2650 C7Z making too much power for the street. He wants this build to be similar to my car. Make just enough power to still be useable on the street from a second gear launch. This should do the trick...It should be a low 10's mid upper 13x combo on 20" wheels. Full drag pack at the track with passenger seat pulled it should have enough to break into the 9's....plenty for a street car.

What King posted to a T. I want to run ethanol to keep the exhaust smelling good plus make a good useable amount of power without going crazy. I’m also trying to make the car seem unassuming and more of a sleeper. I had some Borla resonators installed which helped quiet things back down. I really like driving this car so I don’t want to make it too unbalanced. My brother did a number with his car. Low 10’s on a unprepped surface with 20” wheels is VERY impressive in my book. Perfect for the street.

-As long as I can run E50 and up I will be happy. Should still be able to stay fairly aggressive on timing and keep the exhaust fumes to a tolerable/enjoyable smell. Factory GenV cams seem to burn very clean on E40+.

Should be interesting to see how it turns out although without port injection or meth, I still the think the high side is going to be limited to around 700whp.

Also I'm sure their are a few of us that wouldn't mind some tips on the injector and pump install

I would think with the extra airflow from the port and pulley, it might offset the extra fuel from the upgraded high side and you'll be around e50 still. Looking forward to the results, might be choosing different mods, because I was looking at cam/heads next

Saw your ad, decide to screw it and go bigger blower? Or just paying a core charge
