The Awards came out looking great this year and we have twice as many to give out this time.

$5 entry can't be beat either, but you only have another week to enter and it will close out.

9 Days to go let's get those rides cleaned up and ready for judging. Remember we will be judging on both Friday and Saturday this will allow you to participate in other events as well. Best of will take place on Saturday.

Just a little info on the judging it will be based on a 100 point system everyone will start off with 100 points. We will have 4 categories.

Just a little info on the judging it will be based on a 100 point system everyone will start off with 100 points. This will be the minus point system so each category will be a negative from 0 to what each category points consist of. We have used this system at the Fbody Gathering for 18 years it has worked great in the past.

100 Points
We will have 4 categories
-Exterior
-Interior
-Hood
-Trunk/Rear Hatch

I am actually getting an SB3 Alpha ceramic coating done this week. It should be shiny, at least before I leave for the fest. Can't guarantee how many bugs I will kill between home and the host hotel.

You have to pre-order your entry wristband on the website and add the $5 car show.

Just click on my signature.

Glad you asked the question and good luck with the Best Daily Driver it's meant for guys like you.
OK. I will enter it, after 2 days of washing, cleaning, sweat, blood and WTF is that, I will risk humiliation and put it on display. 75K miles after 3.5 yrs. Fun to drive and thick skin is all i have.

LOL what is funny is I have a buddy who comes with me to shows he daily drives (not so much anymore) but has over 45k on his car and he would actually enter his in the trailered class (he would drive his to shows) and still kick the trailered cars butts. He had his car on display at the fest last year the 4th Gen GMMG Hot Rod Test car.

It's all about having fun as long as they continue the event and I am asked I already have some ideas for next year to break down the classes to a trailered class (1st-6th) and a daily driven class (1st-6th), plus a reunion class (no judging just hand pick a certain number of cars for awards).

Lots can be done as long as the folks keep supporting this show and the car show event.

I think we all truly enjoy seeing these cars on display, the uniqueness people make them, and detailing to the Nth degree. I know I do, because I think we all know how much time and effort it takes to get any car that clean/detailed. It's a passion and appreciation.

DAMN IT, got rear ended in Ashville on way to CF.... Drivable, but needs new fascia and bumper cover.
Big SHOUT out to Ryan at Fields Chysler Mercedes Jeep dodge Mopar, took me in at 5:30 and got my exhaust un bent.. You ever need a helping hand in Ashville NC.
Auto zone for tie wraps, 4 inch flex tape. Drives great, but my babies butt is hurting...
No body hurt, but the Mercedes that hit me, crushed the front end.
See you all Wednesday.
