I joined up with NorCal Camaros, they have a couple cruises around that area occasionally.

I remember seeing a good amount of Camaros there, definitely a market for it.

Definitely. The contrast of cars from the Bay Area to the Monterey Peninsula always amazes me. Especially here in Monterey where everyone is driving a Mercedes S550 or A7 Audi or some Lexus SUV.


Only a handful of Camaros out here. A few more in Salinas. But nothing like San Jose.

What amazed me was how much they consider themselves a car town. In reality they're a car town for one week a year in August.

There was a group that used to meet at buffalo wild wings in seaside every now and then, and the cars and coffee at Laguna seca is pretty legit.

Cars and coffee at Laguna starts again in June. I worked at Weather Tech Raceway and was deputy CEO at the time and we started that idea. Tim had come up with the idea from his time at blackhawk so we gave it a go. We did not anticipate several hundred cars
