Seems to me if you let that get in the way, you're back to buying to impress others. Quote:
So it doesn't matter how many other customers shopping the same few cars that show up on our 'short list' don't care about potential road course performance or how much of it might translate to their street driving. I'm not doing their car-shopping for them. Norm

Hey, from time to time the Camaro has been on the potential short list. Some times at the very top of it (but the timing with respect to our buying cycle was all wrong). For 2008, we all know the reason, and for 2019 we still needed a 4-door sedan.
I wouldn't have 6500+ posts on Camaro5/6 if I had no interest in the cars . . . Norm

In that case maybe I'll trade my Camaro in for this. And still stay on the Camaro6 forum

You haven't really known fear until you "accelerate" to 60 mph in one of these and realize your brakes are as powerful as those on your bicycle, and the body is as sturdy as a cardboard box

sports cars were made to go electric. much lower center of gravity and turning radial mass as well. The lack of big engine and transmission allows much better design freedom to really make it performance. the camaro team who did the alpha team... should be able to make a great electric version eventually i can't wait for a GM camaro. imma buy a convertible now. buy the bev version later.
forget e diff... computer controlled wheels by wire awd. only problem is their weight, but where else can you get 1000hp practical car relatively cheaply. someone posted the 2020 model s repeat 1/4 times.. but thats the old tech first gen . lots of model 3 performance doing repeat laps at the nurburing. they are fast cars. model s plaid+ 0-60 in less than 2 seconds, uses new battery and cooling system (gen 2). all non BEV are just going to be painfully slow cars once they've really optimized the bev platform. the best benchmark will be laptimes. Data will speak for itself. GM will go bev electric or die trying. if they don't try, they will just die. it's the future. |
