Right Timing

I had the right timing and opportunity to take this significant picture.

Help a Canadian figure out their Production Sequence Number ... I have a method :)

Hello ... I'm a Canadian trying to figure out my production sequence number (they arn't going to be able to get that info to me ... I've checked all avenue's at this point).

I can work it out with a bit of luck and assistance though. From the photo's on this site and others I've narrowed the range down based on VIN (the last 5 digits give the order in which the car came off the Lansing line ... but don't segregate models, etc.) this allows me to narrow the range my sequence number could be.

Right now the range is:
LOW END: 1555
HIGH END: 1569 (1570 was built same day, 17 cars further down the line from mine)

If your production sequence number is between those two values, can you please message me the last 5 digits of your VIN and the sequence number? This will allow me to continually narrow my range and hopefully ... eventually ... determine my production sequence number. (I'll update the range as I get more information from people)

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide this poor Canadian Camaro enthusiast

Tomorrow Makes One Week

After damn near 8 months of waiting and watching I finally took delivery of my baby last Friday! Came with a small nick in the bumper that was shipped that way from Minnesota to Florida, and the dealer pretty much said I don't know how it goes in Florida, but we have gravel up here, and cars chip easy, so pretty much all new vehicles comes with chips in Minnesota. Not impressed by the dealer to say the least, but I've reached out to Chevrolet who wants to hear about it.

So anyways, outside of the dealer, I LOVE this car! I had never seen one in person but had rented a 2016 v6 convertible (which set off my Camaro love obsession) and a 2019 ss, that just happened to be Crush! But I wanted the HW edition, and would have nothing less, and was waiting to see how low prices would go! Got about $10,500 off of $58,000 so I feel pretty accomplished!

I got the convertible, V8 cuz why not, automatic because Tampa traffic sucks and I've been driving stick for the past 7 years and LOVE that 8 speed automatic, magnetic ride control (which I'm still not sure what it does but why not), and performance exhaust. This car is perfect and doesn't need a thing, except a clear bra!

Funny enough I was reading the build count numbers last night and was like "wonder what the odds of my seeing another convertible with only 381 built" and I'll be a son of a monkeys uncle if not 12 hours later I saw one in Clearwater! It wasn't a SS, but it was a convertible with a mature female driver. We exchanged waves and hoots and hollars as we passed each other. My God, it was beautiful and I'm tearing up typing this haha

In the week I've have this car and put 600+ miles on it I'm certainly head over heals and in love with my purchase aside from the small dealer defect. Almost the second I got to 500 miles me and a hardtop 6 speed had a late night chance encounter on the open interstate and we went at it

Had to clean the garage and fix the garage door as well to make sure my HW is protected. Then got the pup in the back seat today! But he preferred the top up haha

Glad to be part of this limited edition group!

Nice looking. Congrats. If you don't have one, you will probably like the wind deflector for when you have the top down. I have the GM one and it works good.

Thank you guys! I'm enjoying every moment of driving again

@GroundHogSS Is the air deflector something you have to put in when you put the top down or remove when people are going to "fit" in the back seat?

I leave mine in all the time. Top will close with it in place. As far as people going in the back seat.....

If someone's going in the back you'll need to remove it.

What Ric said. I rarely have anyone back there. With the top up, I fold down the upright part for better visibility out the back. It's pretty easy to take out and put back in. When folded up, it fits in the trunk under where you fold the top down. Plenty of room.

Awesome! I'm going to have to get one and check it out! Originally I thought my fur child was going to have to be in the back seat, but his hammock protects the front seat nicely and he certainly prefers the front to the back!

I know, some people will cringe at the fact that I let my puppy son ride in my new car. But I love my car, and my puppy son, so its great getting to share them both at the same time!

Doesn't get much better than fur babies and Camaros!
