Im sure there is no way that a 1LE could beat the GT350.the only big difference it got with the normal SS is the suspension and now with the MRC available for the SS,I don't see a reason for making another 1LE unless you really want the black hood and wheels. A zl1 or z28 thats something u can depend on

Maybe they will have it ready to show at the Detroit Auto Show. Maybe sooner?

These are definitely 2 different cars. Notice, car #1 with the hood vent, has a more narrow, angled spoiler.... And car #2 has no vent opening and a wider high spoiler and seems to be a tad wider on the back end... Although both have a z07 style splitter and look to have a different bumper than the ss....

Two different cars, UNLESS.... The spoiler tilts for down pressure!!!

IMHO, that is to be seen. The new SS from what Ive read, performs as well or better than the 5th Gen 1LE. With this, this in fact sets the bar for the 1LE perhaps at the GT350, and I foresee a FI GT5XX to compete with the ZL1 or Z28. We will have wait and see....

There is plenty left on the table, even with the SS having optional MRC. They can stiffen the bushings, sways, springs and dampers. Add aero pieces to increase downforce. Add bigger, stickier tires. Increase the size of the brakes. Add the dry sump LT1.

Are we sure these are two different cars if that's the case the camouflage must have been done by the same person because it looks exactly the same I've been looking at it for over an hour

And that's kind of sick in the head to be looking at spy shots of a car that's not going to be available for almost 2 years for over an hour at the crack of dawn. what in the hell is wrong with me

You haven't been looking hard enough. Look at the spoilers and the hood... I posted images above. When the car has the vent open on the hood, the spoiler is more narrow and sharply angled downwards.... When the hood vent isn't open, the spoiler is a lot broader and wider.... The only way these are the same car, is if the spoiler tilts downwards while at certain speeds

An adjustable wicker spoiler would tie in with the Corvette ques. Plus tie in w/the Z28 form over function criteria.

That would be a nasty z28!!! Let's hope for two cars and assume z28 then

This picture looks like a different rocker panel than the others.

I agree. There are some clear differences, but the camo pretty much conceals everything else pretty well.

Hard to say if the wheels are the versions from the ATS-V/CTS-V or just pulled straight from the 5th gen ZL1/1LE...they are very similar, except the Cadillac wheels are 19s" and have a bit less concave offset than the Camaro wheels. Too hard to tell from these far away shots.

Also, one, if not both of these certainly could be wide body in my opinion. An inch or two added in fender flair on either side would be too difficult to spot under the camo in these shots.

If they use the hood extractor from the CTS-V (or similar) it will look killer. Someone already photoshopped a 6th gen with it on this forum and the look was very cool.

All I know is, is that I hope some of these bits (like the rockers) can be swapped onto a regular SS model. I do want!
