The implication is that the ZL1 will have the CTS-V powertrain & other performance goodies but will weigh quite a bit less since the Camaro is expected to weigh roughly as much as an ATS, thus making it a beast.

Perhaps, but if we simply subtract 200 pounds form the current ZL1 it will be 3,900+ pounds. Performance should be just a bit faster than the CTS/V, but short of the current Z06. But will there be enough cooling to keep the heat away for very long?

It will be cool if the CA6 ZL1 gets the Z/28 sized brakes too. It might beat or at least equal the current Z/28 with the same tires. Then what would the next Z/28 be?

Maybe make them optional; most ZL1 owners would have little use for mega-expensive racing-quality brakes. They could add $10-15k to the car's price.

I'm hoping they build the Zl1 with the LT4 and offer a "Z28" track package similar to the Z07. 10k option offers the Cc brakes and aero/weight loss.

Basically he disagrees with your assessment on the sound of the zo6 and attributed it to your location on the planet as well as your current ride.

Yeah, let's not drag the Z28 badge through the mud like GM of old. Instead of trying to use Z/28 on something that isn't one, let's just let it go away again.

Gotcha... Just clarifying for you like you asked.

If you don't like the sound of the current SS with dual mode or the standard exhaust ( not sure which you want) in about a year or less after launch you will have all kinds of choices in aftermarket exhaust to better suit your taste.

Korean piece of crap... Lol... I wouldn't be that harsh but it wouldn't be my choice. Like you said got to start somewhere though.

yes.thanks.
but about the sound,I like the sound on the SS and the current zl1 but with the new engine, looks like the sound has changed a lot.the vette got the duel mode too and it doesn't have the rumble we hear on the 5th gen.i hope we get another exhaust note on the caddy and ZL1
