Just a joke...

On a serious note, getting rid of flex points in the IRS should improve traction in certain conditions. Most issues arise from wheel hop, to a lesser extent wheel placement is affected enough to cause slip and an even smaller benefit is less power being soaked up from squishing the soft bushings/arms... another theoretical benefit is allowing for a softer damper setting that will have better weight transfer while holding the intended suspension geometry. Tuning for all this is another matter entirely and outside the scope of a shop with an alignment machine. Not sure how much all this ads to in terms of actual acceleration numbers... but my updated IRS feels much better - I actually know what my car is doing and it's easier to control. That was the entire point for me though. I haven't timed any acceleration runs so far, I just enjoy the feeling of control is gives me.

Kinda confusing, but I think I get what your getting at.

For me and many, "handling" isn't just how it goes around corners, handling also includes traction. So whether you plan to race or not, do realize lose of traction can be attributed to wheel hop just the same. As a few have already mentioned, when the bushings distort due to power, once the wheel hops once, you can light the tires up.

Kinda counter active achieving traction.

Also tire choice and compound could play a role as well as psi in said tire.

I've checked and all you mentioned was you have a 315 tire in the rear now. No brand or psi was mentioned.

The tires are 305 nitto 555 G2s
Cannot remember the psi, I can check in a few hours

This tire is much better than the mickey Thompson sport comp I had on her at first but once it is time to change I'll probably ask for recommendations and go for something with more stick.

It's still a 320-treadwear tire, and not likely to be in the same league as Michelin's Pilot Super Sport (at 300-TW).

Don't plan on getting expensive tires till I buy a matching set. Stock rears are in the front now.
