Road America Track Weekend June 10-11 with PBOC - Solo & TT - Low # of Registrations
I just wanted to help spread local awareness of this upcoming weekend event that I'm signed up for since it looks like there are currently only 12 people signed up for solo and 9 people signed up for racing/time trials with a little over 2 months before the event.
I drove with this group (PBOC National) for the first time at Sebring last year and they ran the event well. This might be a great opportunity to get lots of laps without traffic if other Road America events typically have a lot of cars in each run group. Idk what the usual number of cars per run group is because this will be my first time at Road America. I'm guessing the low number of current registrations is because this event is far from PBOC's home base in Florida and because the pricing is somewhat higher than other organizers charge for this track (but not exorbitant IMO). There are options for racing, time trials, and solo (open passing with a point by). You can register for one or both days. They should accept your solo status from other HPDE/track day organizers but double check before registering. This event doesn't have instructed HPDE unlike their Sebring events. I hope to meet some of you at the event! The schedule has been released. It includes a little over 2 hours per day of Advanced group track time spread across 5 sessions plus 45 minutes of open track for all run groups combined at the end of the day.
