I can't tell 100% but looks like the same piece replaced when you install a catch can. The connectors and length definitely look right for it.

That's your PCV connection. +2 on get a catch can and keep your valves clean. My tech suggests valve cleaning every oil change or two as well.

Yeah... for a price. Probably not in stock (depends on the dealership) but they can order it for you. How did it break?

There is no replacement piece for this PCV connector. It's fused into the intake manifold. You'll have to replace it with fitting from a hardware store, gluing it back together, or replace the intake manifold.

I see pulling the intake mani in your future.

Where is the actual valve in that photo? Loose end or end attached to block?

EDIT: got it. Part screwed into block. Photo here:http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showpo...52&postcount=1

If only someone would release a means of identifying parts and repair procedures. They could combine them all into something that owners can reference without paying obscene fees to rent the info online everytime they need to look something up.

Give us the service manual GM.

From the pics the fitting side did not break, the male insert did. So that can be replaced. Or are you seeing something I'm not?

that male part that broke is fused to the intake manifold. So you have to glue it or replace the manifold. Others have rigged it up with parts from the hardware store too.
