Realistically there needs to be at least a model year of soak time before the 1LE comes out. I think there is a large delta with the ATS, despite "common platform". GM can barely test the car now properly with all of the camouflage. Keep in mind the Gen5 platform was not new either in 2009, but still took 2 model years to come out with the ZL1 and 1LE.

I would rather get a properly sorted car after lots of undistracted track testing by GM.

Why? The 1LE is just a package on the SS like the Z51 on the Stingray. The Z51 was available from the start so the 1LE should be as well.

I look for the 50th anniversary to be the yr they come out with a 6th gen Z/28. Which will be the following yr (2017) as it started in 1967.

it'll probably come out in stages. SS and V6 first year, then 1LE, then Z/28. Which i am guessing the next Z/28 will be more like the current ZL1. i don't think they're going to have both with fewer engine's available. Like what's going on with the C7 only having the ZO6.

There's no way they would build a supercharged Z/28 after the whole name change that lead to the current ZL1. Team Camaro knows a supercharger doesn't belong on the Z/28. It's too bad Team Corvette doesn't believe the same for the Z06.

As it is an upgrade to the SS model and not another model in the Camaro line-up. and no worries there will be enough future models released to keep the excitement going in coming years.
The number 1 reason why all three are needed right up front is the Mustang has all 3 and a turbo 4. So the Camaro needs 4 models right up front.

Can't forget about the Turbo 4 Cylinder and if it will power the base model or like Ford has done and made it an option over the 6 cylinder in the Mustang.

I'm hoping the convertible comes out pretty quickly after the coupes.

GM needs only to see the runaway popularity of the Z51 package on the C7 to know why the 1LE needs to be available at launch. They completely missed the mark on the mix of Z51 vs. non-Z51 in the first year and had to scramble to catch up.

It would be nice to see the 1LE package from the get go, but I wouldn't be surprised for them to hold it back a bit.
True.

We will have a corvette zr1 that will follow less than 2017. Maybe,we will
have a 800 Hp or less, or the ZL1 will carry that c7 zr1's engine.I would hope to see that. But, other than that its cool.
