I've been using Google for a little bit. Overall, a fan. My only gripe is that when you go on your phone to a different app, it closes the Google Maps app on CarPlay.
I prefer Google, however Waze is nice for police alerts. |

Update just went live. You need to a) install iOS 12 and b) update the app in the App Store and you're good to go.

Seems to work pretty well on my short 18 mile commute back and forth to work. Making a road trip on Friday and will test it out thoroughly.
I wanted this so bad I tried staying on previous versions of iOS 10 so that I could jailbreak and add, but was never able to figure that out. Bill

Wake now works, you just need to update the app on your phone first and the go into your settings and add the wake app to your CarPlay screen. (Mine was on the second screen so I have to drag it over like you do when organizing your phone screen)

It's nice. I like how it pops up the cop notification with thanks or not there. I wish the alert buttons were a tad bigger.
